Historically, angel investors and networks had limited engagement with venture capital firms. However, the early-stage investment ecosystem is changing: venture capital firms are investing at the earliest stages and angel investors are getting access to later-stage deals. The overlap between angel investors and venture investors will continue to increase, therefore, it’s imperative for angel investors to develop effective strategies to engage, co-invest, and build mutually beneficial relationships within the venture capital industry.
